Fair assessment. However, there is a clear distinction between the two. Capitalism is the law of the jungle: eat or be eaten. Some people don’t like it, but that is nature. The corrupt people are just as present, but you can fight your way up. In socialism, you will very likely die in the economic situation you are born. It is in the human nature to strive for that which is better. Everybody loves a fighting chance. People are manipulated to stay at one point all their lives through fear, laziness, etc.

Life is a jungle, let’s not pretend it’s not. That’s my point.
