Hi John, thanks for your response. Did you consider the solution I proffered? Even in the USA, democracy is greatly flawed. Just look at the division in the country triggered mostly by politics. That is the problem of democracy. The difference is that the USA has had many years of democracy and it has gotten them thus far. Have you ever seen a country that became developed in about 10 years via democracy?
The problem of Africa is that it is dragging the world down. And while consensus is achievable in other places because of education and literacy, it is almost impossible in the Africa of today. Once a certain group feels cheated, the matter will not have a resolution.
My solution is a different system of government that brings the advantages of democracy and other systems of government (especially autocracy) into play. Africa needs to come up with a system of government that fits its society. That is my take ☺
